Anuela Ristani has reacted to the decision of the Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, to remove her delegated rights, announcing her departure as deputy mayor from the capital's municipality.
Through a long message, Ristani expresses his gratitude for Tirana and its citizens, while saying that he leaves with "pride, humility and full of love" for the city.

"After more than a decade in the service of the most beautiful city in the world, I leave today with pride, humility and full of love for Tirana. What everyone covets, many love, but few understand.
The city I started working for 11 years ago, when I was crossing the short but long distance of "Skënderbej" Square, which could not be called a square, is today a meeting point for visitors from all over the world, who don't know exactly how to put a name to the allure they feel, because Tirana's strongest point is the good feeling it gives you.
