
Chaotic scenes unfolded on Saturday evening at Portsmouth International Airport in New Hampshire, US, when a 17-year-old, trying to escape police, drove his car onto the airport grounds, breaking a fence and then crashing into a truck trailer and a parked plane.
According to New Hampshire police, it all started shortly after 8 p.m. when an officer attempted to stop a black Ford Mustang. The driver, identified as 17-year-old Wyatt Seeley of Rochester, allegedly disobeyed the order and sped away.
The vehicle, according to authorities, was driving without its lights on and was heading towards the airport. A short time later, the Mustang crashed into the perimeter fence, which it destroyed, and then entered the area where the planes were parked.
The car hit a tractor and then a small plane, which was parked and fortunately had no passengers. The vehicle was stopped and police arrested the 17-year-old driver. The young man was then taken to a local hospital for medical evaluation. According to authorities, the young man is suspected of being under the influence of alcohol. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to obey a police officer's order, dangerous driving and violation of prescribed obligations following a road accident. ©LAPSI.al
