93 days of protest/ Citizens do not back down from the demand for the

The civic protest in Tirana has entered its 93rd day of civic revolt. This Monday, the rally began at Skanderbeg Square to continue the march towards the Prime Minister's Office building.

The protesters' demands remain the non-negotiable resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama and the annulment of the law on protected areas. With banners in their hands and calls for the overthrow of the political class, citizens have marked 93 days of resistance.

They held banners in their hands while chanting "New Albania", "You were a thief, stay a thief".

A protester said that there should be an education system in the country that facilitates and improves education in the country, not seeing leaving abroad as an option. She further said that there should be a meritocracy where everyone should get what they deserve, continuing on to the health system, which according to her does not function if citizens do not take money out of their pockets to receive services.

At the end of her speech, she stated that there are many reasons to protest, and that civic resistance will continue until the mission is accomplished and the government leaves.

"In a new and free Albania, we must have an education system where our children are educated with pride and not where parents look for places to send them abroad. We need a meritocracy system where those who deserve it get the job. We must have a health system where doctors do not look at patients from their pockets and patients do not panic when they are sick."

"We need an Albania where the right triumphs and where property goes to those who deserve it, and not as a tribute to the next government's honors. These and many more are the reasons that bring us together in the square. September will find us more united, more numerous and ready for the next action until the government leaves," declared the protester. /LAPSI.al
