
The Ministry of Defense has updated the data on the fire situation in the country. The Defense Ministry informs that so far 10 fire outbreaks have been reported in the country's territory, of which 5 remain active, 4 are under surveillance and 1 has been completely extinguished. According to the official announcement, the situation appears to be most engaged in the Dibër district, where the outbreaks in Vajkal, Lundre, Ballenjë and in the Bershi–Kurdari–Patina belt remain active.

According to operational information updated on 31.08.2026, at 14:00, 10 fire outbreaks have been reported in the country's territory, of which 5 remain active, 4 are under surveillance and 1 has been completely extinguished. The situation appears to be most engaged in the Dibër district, where outbreaks remain active in Vajkal, Lundre, Ballenjë and in the Bershi–Kurdari–Patina belt.
In Lundre, due to the wind and the considerable forest area, 20 military forces and 1 Air Force helicopter have been deployed; currently there is no danger to residential areas. In Vajkal, 20 MZSH forces and 20 AF personnel have been deployed, while in Ballenjë the fire continues in a forest area within the protected area.
In Dajt, in the direction of Qafë-Priskë, the fire extinguishing operation continues, with the engagement of 15 firefighting forces, 9 AdZM forces and 20 AF personnel, without danger to residential areas. In Korça, the fire in Qafë i Lugut is under control.
In Elbasan, the fire on Mount Dardha has been completely extinguished, while surveillance continues on Mount Qukës. A total of 70 military forces and 1 Air Force helicopter have been deployed to support the operations. The situation continues to be monitored, and according to reports, no residential areas are at risk.
