Arrested with Ergys Agas, former police officer Uljan Shpataraku is transferred

Former State Police official Uljan Shpataraku has been transferred to Peqin detention center, following his arrest along with Ergys Agasi.

Shpataraku was arrested on August 26 in the Plepave area of Durrës, while he was in the same vehicle as Ergys Agas. According to SPAK, the former police officer was arrested in flagrante delicto, under suspicion of the criminal offense of “supporting the perpetrator of the crime”. On August 29, the Special Court imposed the security measure “prison arrest” on Shpataraku, while investigations into the case continue.
