Today's (August 30) protest against the government and Prime Minister Edi Rama marked its 92nd day of resistance.
With chants of: 'Rama resign!' citizens who initially gathered at "Skënderbej" Square marched towards "Dëshmorët e Kombit" Boulevard to stand in front of the Prime Minister's Office.
There, on an improvised podium, they held speeches on this hot August Sunday, denouncing the mismanagement and corruption of this government, demanding its removal.
They also called on the administration to join them in this protest for a new Albania.
Organizers have warned that the protests in September will be more powerful, while they have called on students and teachers to join in removing Prime Minister Rama's government, which depopulated Albania, impoverished Albanians, and enriched oligarchs and those in power. /LAPSI.al
