Famous Italian comedian Massimo Boldi has suffered a serious incident in the center of the town of Forte dei Marmi.
The incident occurred around 5 p.m. on Thursday, in front of a cafe while Boldi was walking with some friends. He suddenly fell to the ground and hit his head on the sidewalk. It is not clear whether the actor fell due to an illness or tripped.
Friends immediately called the ambulance and Boldi was immediately taken to the Livorno hospital. Boldi is undergoing the necessary medical checks, although it is said that his condition is not serious.
Massimo Boldi, now 81, is one of Italy's best-known actors. Originally from Luino, in the remote province of Varese, he belongs to the so-called "Derby" school, a cult place in Milan that allowed the emergence of comic talents such as Cochi, Renato and Diego Abatantuono, who became famous and remained close friends with Boldi, who became known to the general public with his character "Cipollino".
Massimo Boldi later had an extraordinary success thanks to the so-called cinepattoni, successful films with his friend Christian De Sica. ©LAPSI.al
