Details/ The Italian who robbed the Audi Q5 refuses to give his name

New details have emerged from the serious incident that occurred on Saturday evening when a 35-year-old Italian identified as Angelo Esposito stole an Audi Q5 car on the Durrës - Tirana secondary road and attempted to disappear.

The owner of the Audi had just gotten out of the car and left it running. The Italian citizen got into the car and immediately drove away. He drove through the Astir area, while the police pursued him.

During the chase, the Italian made dangerous maneuvers and crashed into several cars before being arrested by police. He even hit a police officer, causing injuries to his hand.

The Italian has refused to cooperate with investigators. He has refused to even give his full name, and no documents have been found with him.

Media reports say that the police have contacted the Italian embassy in Tirana to obtain more information about his activities in Albania. At this stage, the reason and time of his entry into our country remain unclear. /LAPSI.al
