The Supervisory Agency for the Execution of Criminal Decisions System has suspended and launched investigations into four employees of the Fier prison. The reason for this is the loss of a mobile phone that had been reported and an incident report had been compiled.
The phone was found on June 24 of this year in the cell of prisoner KC, and the latter has admitted authorship.

Announcement from the Supervisory Agency for the Execution of Criminal Decisions System, in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Fier, actions have been carried out with special investigation methods in function of criminal proceedings no. 1118/2026, in relation to the event of 24.06.2026 that occurred at the Fier Penitentiary Institution, where the AMSEVP was notified that from the search it carried out in the room where the imprisoned citizen KC is serving his sentence, a suspected mobile phone was found, for which the prisoner has admitted authorship.
During the first procedural actions by AMSEVP, it was found that the mobile phone, for which the incident report had been reported and compiled, was missing from the scene.
Following the investigative actions regarding this event, the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Fier has decided:
-the personal security measure 'arrest with imprisonment' for citizens detained in pre-trial detention centers (KC) and pre-trial detention centers (BP),
as well as the personal security measures "Suspension of the exercise of a public duty or service", "ban on leaving the country" and "Obligation to report to the judicial police" for citizens:
1. MB, responsible for building B and C
2. EH, with basic role in the sector, Building A
3. SH, with the duty of basic role employee in the sector, Building A
4. JM, with basic role in the sector, Building A
