Prime Minister Edi Rama welcomed Albanian boxing champion Nelson Hysa to the Prime Minister's office. "Nelson, the Albanian Eagle who knows no defeat, and I, together with democrat Zef Gjoni, who fight only for victory," Rama wrote.
Two days ago, Nelson Hysa defeated Norwegian Thomas Narmo in just two rounds, thus retaining the title and bringing his record to 25 wins and 0 losses.
During the visit, Hysa donated boxing gloves to Prime Minister Rama.
"I hadn't had a boxing match in 11 months. I had to defend my title. The opponent was actually very strong. Norwegian, 7 cm taller, heavier in weight. He was the favorite to be honest. They had chosen him to take my title.
"Fortunately, it went well. I lost the first round, but the second round went well. These federations are usually abused. I am ranked in the world in four categories," Hysa said in a conversation with Rama.
Rama then addresses boxing coach Zef Gjoni with jokes, saying: "You democrats broke my nose."
