Crisis from war, head of Iranian Parliament calls for gasoline savings

Iran is facing difficulties in securing fuel supplies, while the US naval blockade has hindered gasoline imports. In this situation, the speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, has called on citizens to reduce consumption. Ghalibaf said that saving fuel is now necessary to cope with the situation and avoid shortages.

"However, what is clear is that we need to save gasoline as consumers," Ghalibaf declared in a television interview.

According to foreign media reports, he added that if fuel is used in a controlled manner, the country can meet its needs with domestic production.

"If we use it properly, we can get by with the amount of gasoline we produce," the speaker of the Iranian Parliament emphasized.

The call comes at a time when pressure on Iran's fuel supplies has increased significantly. An Iranian lawmaker said in recent days that the country is facing a daily shortage of about 15 to 20 million liters of gasoline, while imports through southern ports have been cut off or made difficult by the US blockade.

A decisive moment for Albania

It is the first time that Albanians feel they can shape the national debate without waiting for political parties to take the lead. Experience teaches us that democracy depends not only on elections, but also on active citizenship among them.
