
Sali Berisha, announced today in an online conversation with citizens that he will travel to the United States of America to participate in a conference that the Republican Party will hold in Texas, in the context of the midterm elections.
Berisha announced that he has been invited as part of a delegation of the International Democratic Union, composed of leaders of about 30 member parties.
"The American Republican Party is holding a conference in Texas for the mid-term elections, which they call mid-term elections. And the International Democratic Union, in which the Republican Party has the most weight, because it is the largest party among them all, has created a delegation with the heads of about 30 parties of this union to participate in the conference in Texas," Berisha declared.
The DP leader said that, in addition to the invitation to be part of this delegation, he has also received a second invitation from an American institute that, according to him, is related to the conference.
"But in addition to this invitation to be part of the delegation, I also have another invitation from an American institute related to this conference. So I am waiting for the documents and will participate," he said.
Asked about the meetings he may hold during his stay in the US, Berisha said that he has not yet determined a concrete agenda, but expects the meetings to be fixed in the coming days.
"As for the meetings, I haven't scheduled them, but I hope to schedule them in the coming days," Berisha declared.
