Former senior police officer Uljan Shpataraku will face the Special Court today for the determination of security measures. The hearing is expected to take place at 11:00.
Shpataraku has been arrested by the authorities, as he is suspected of driving the vehicle in which Ergys Agasi, who is wanted by the justice system, was traveling.
The former police officer is accused of the criminal offense of supporting the perpetrator of the crime. The prosecution is expected to file a request for a security measure against him in court, while Shpataraku will be briefed on the charges and will give his position.
The 11:00 a.m. session is expected to determine the security measure that will be taken against the former senior police official.
