A serious criminal incident has been prevented in Golem, after a 47-year-old man set out to kill the people who had raped his 18-year-old nephew. According to the Police, the conflict began in a hotel, where the 18-year-old, who worked as a waiter, was raped by four people due to a conflict over payment for the work performed.
After receiving information that the 18-year-old's uncle had gone armed to the hotel, the police intervened and stopped his vehicle, seizing a Kalashnikov, 3 magazines and 84 cartridges. Following the investigation, 28-year-old FH and 20-year-old ED were arrested, while 36-year-old AF was declared wanted. Another 36-year-old, MM, is being processed at large.
Meanwhile, the people who raped the 18-year-old, in order to hide the incident, had cut the camera cables and deleted all the footage of the violence.

The services of the Kavajë Police Commissariat and the Golem Police Station, after receiving a report of a conflict in a hotel in the Mali i Robi area, Golem, immediately went to the scene, preventing further escalation of the conflict. The first investigative actions resulted in the citizen FH, together with citizens AF, ED and MM, having raped citizen GN, 18 years old, a waiter in the hotel bar, due to non-payment for the work performed. The 18-year-old is in the Kavajë Hospital, under the care of doctors.
During the course of the operations, the Police received information in an operational manner that the uncle of the 18-year-old, citizen MN, 47 years old, resident of Kavaja, armed with a firearm, had headed towards the hotel, with the intention of killing the persons who had raped his nephew. The Police immediately intervened, stopping the vehicle driven by this citizen near the hotel. During the search of the vehicle, in a backpack, the Police found an automatic firearm, a Kalashnikov, 3 magazines and 84 live ammunition.
The investigative actions also showed that the scene had been cleaned, the security camera DVR had been removed and the cables had been cut. At the end of the initial investigative actions, citizens FH, 28 years old, and ED, 20 years old, residents of Kavaja, were arrested in flagrante delicto; citizen AF, 36 years old, was declared wanted; citizen MM, 36 years old, resident of Kavaja, was released on bail. Citizen MN, 47 years old, resident of Kavaja, was also arrested in flagrante delicto. In cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office, work continues on the full legal documentation of this event. The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further actions.
