A horrific traffic accident in which 3 people lost their lives occurred on Saturday evening on a highway in the Pedroso region of Paraguay.
The accident occurred shortly after 8 p.m. when a truck transporting bricks bound for Asuncion suffered a brake failure and collided with several vehicles stopped at a traffic light.

Despite the driver's attempt to swerve to the left to avoid the collision, it was not possible. According to local media, in addition to the three people who lost their lives, 10 other passengers in the vehicles were injured.
The speed of the truck - without brakes - was such that it reportedly stopped 80 meters after hitting the vehicles. The accident also caused a fire and a power outage in the area where the tragedy occurred. ©LAPSI.al
