A video is circulating online showing a Russian drone in Kherson, Ukraine, following a street vendor within a few meters and hitting him. The footage shows the man trying to hide around his parked vehicle. At one point, the drone crashes and explodes.
In a lengthy tweet, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky strongly condemned Russia's actions targeting ordinary citizens. He said the person was injured, adding that the Russians not only showed no remorse but also made the material public, bragging about the attack.
Today, many were shocked by yet another video of the drone "safari" Russians are carrying out against civilians in Kherson. Zelensky claimed that similar incidents occur every day in Kherson, referring to a drone "safari" against civilians.
"The world needs to see this reality. It needs to see every piece of evidence that proves that Russia has lost all borders and that its soldiers take pleasure in killing and abusing civilians," he said.
The Ukrainian president argued that without significant international pressure on Russia, limitation of its military capabilities, and reliable security guarantees, there can be no peaceful coexistence.
He called on the international community to continue supporting Ukraine, so that - as he said - Russia would be forced to choose peace instead of further escalating the war through the use of drones. ©LAPSI.al
