Kane's popularity peaked after Spain's victory over Belgium last week, when television cameras showed the three-year-old waving and smiling at his brother from the stands.

Speaking to reporters after the match, Yamal revealed that his brother had warned him. "I was in physiotherapy and he called me, using my mum's phone, and said he was going to stick his tongue out tomorrow. So when I saw it on the screen, it really made me laugh," said Lamine Yamal.
Kane, who was born in September 2022, is the son of Lamine's mother, Sheila Ebana.
