Air traffic in Albanian airspace has been temporarily suspended due to a technical problem reported in the Albcontrol radar system.
The defect affected the monitoring of aircraft movements, causing air traffic to be suspended for a short period, as a precautionary measure to ensure safety.
During the disruption, aircraft were not allowed to land or take off from Rinas, while the passage of aircraft through the country's airspace was also prohibited.
The suspension will continue until the full functionality of the systems is restored and the necessary conditions are guaranteed for the normal resumption of air traffic.
