25-year-old Ana Dyrmishi, who suffered severe burns in the fire that broke out a few days ago at the "Brooklyn" hotel in Vlora, has passed away in Turkey. The young woman was sent to Turkey two days after the fire that engulfed the hotel in Vlora, where she suffered severe burns while on vacation. Initially, Dyrmishi was taken to a hospital in our country, but was later sent to the Turkish state for more specialized treatment. Her condition was critical and she did not manage to survive the injuries sustained in the fire.

The fire broke out at around 04:05 on the morning of August 16, in the interior of the “Brooklyn” hotel, in the “10 Korriku” neighborhood, on the Lungomare of Vlora. According to the Vlora Police, after reviewing security camera footage, the fire is suspected to have been accidental and started from a burning electrical outlet in the refrigerator in the restaurant.
The flames spread through the hotel while the holidaymakers were in their rooms. The situation became particularly dangerous on the second floor, where some of the holidaymakers were trapped by smoke and flames. Some of them, to escape the fire, were forced to jump out of windows and from a height, suffering injuries.
