US President Donald Trump declared that the US has severely damaged Iran's military capabilities and will soon have "complete control" over the Strait of Hormuz.
"We have destroyed Iran," Trump said in a phone interview with his former lawyer, Michael Cohen. According to him, Tehran still has missiles and drones, but the capacity to produce them has been significantly reduced.
Trump also claimed that the US already controls most of the Strait of Hormuz. He warned that Washington aims to soon take "complete control" over this strategic corridor.
Meanwhile, tensions continue in the West Bank. According to Al Jazeera, three Palestinians were injured in attacks by Israeli settlers near Hebron. The media reported that Israeli forces prevented ambulances from reaching the wounded. The developments come amid high tensions in the region, while the clash over control and navigation in the Strait of Hormuz remains one of the main points of conflict.
