The Democratic Party convened its National Council this Thursday afternoon. Chairman Sali Berisha said that the SP has suffered a significant decline in the polls.
"Our opponent has a 29% drop in the polls, so he is politically dead. Even internationally, Edi Rama is politically dead. He has been disfigured. He has disintegrated. He has disintegrated before the eyes of international public opinion, and Albanians alike. Every journalist who entered his office came out convinced that he is out of date. He is disfigured. He is politically dead," said Berisha, underlining that this situation should be exploited by the opposition.
"All of this should inspire every democrat, but above all, it should give them the motivation to move forward with the most vital process we have begun, renewal."
