An anti-drug operation was finalized yesterday evening (August 31) in Devoll, where two young men were arrested, suspected of transporting narcotics. Police sources indicate that as part of this operation, HC, 28 years old, and Sh.D., 27 years old, who were transporting narcotics by car, were arrested. The incident was recorded on a secondary road connecting a village to the Korça-Bilisht road axis.
According to police data, shortly before they were stopped, a bag of suspected cannabis sativa was thrown from the vehicle. The search also continued at the young people's homes, where suspected seeds of the narcotic plant were found in the home of 28-year-old HC. The two young men are charged with the criminal offense of "Production and sale of narcotics", committed in collaboration. Meanwhile, investigations continue for other persons involved in this activity.
