Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has called on Kiev's allies to increase military and financial support for Ukraine as the country prepares for a new winter of war.
According to foreign media reports, during a meeting in Kiev, Zelensky demanded that international partners provide the necessary air defense systems before winter, warning that Russia could resume attacks on Ukrainian energy infrastructure.
The Ukrainian president also asked for help to cover a financial gap of about 27 billion euros for the country's defense needs until 2026. In his speech, Zelensky also returned to the issue of Russian assets frozen in various European countries, demanding that they be used in support of Ukraine.
