"As you have been informed by the media in recent days, I was kidnapped by a police escort platoon without telling me where they were taking me, without my knowledge, 100 km from the court where I am being tried and far from my wife with two minors and my retired mother.

"Toni Gogu visited me after the transfer and told me that this happened on the personal order of Prime Minister Edi Rama. He told me that the prosecutors were ready to add charges to the one of violating the constitutional order. This is as punishment for supporting the protest of the flamingos and students, but this is as true as the report of Nesti Angoni and Nasta Pëllumbi is true. But it seems that this complaint was honored by the GJKKO, which was not aware of Veliaj's transfer to Fier.
"We judge that it is not our competence, as far as the claims that the transfer was made on the orders of Prime Minister Edi Rama, to follow the institutional path, are not the subject of this trial. It is up to the competent bodies to verify his claims."
