The protesters have left the area of the Ministry of Education and have started the march towards the Prime Minister's Office, after several hours of tension and clashes with the police. While crossing Durrës Street, students and other citizens who joined the protest have continued their calls against Prime Minister Edi Rama, demanding his resignation and arrest.
“Resign”, “Arrest Rama”, “Rama in prison, Berisha in prison” and “You do not represent us” are some of the calls that accompanied the march. Earlier, the situation in front of the Ministry of Education became tense after some protesters set fire to garbage cans and threw objects at the officers, while the police used spray and tear gas. Today's protest started at 14:00 in front of the Ministry of Education and was also accompanied by tensions between some students and supporters of the Democratic Party, who later joined the rally.
