The police have advanced with the intervention to disperse the remaining protesters on the "Martyrs of the Nation" Boulevard, after using water cannons. The water cannons have been moved towards the Ministry of Interior, while some of the protesters have retreated to the streets around the center of Tirana.
In parallel, the officers have also begun escorting protesters. Some protesters are being taken by the police and put into vehicles, even when there were no direct clashes in the area where they were. The intervention comes after previous tensions in front of the Prime Minister's Office, where Molotov cocktails and fireworks were thrown at the building and vehicles, while the police responded with pressurized water.
