A large banner with the inscription "Rama in prison, Berisha in prison" has been placed by students on the railings of the Ministry of Education, where a national protest has been taking place since 14:00. The rally was also joined by supporters of the Democratic Party, who had earlier gathered in front of the Prime Minister's Office and then marched towards the Ministry of Education to join the students' protest.
Tensions were also reported between some opposition supporters and protesters during the protest. So far, it is reported that two people have been escorted by police.
Students have warned that protests will continue, despite repeated calls for dialogue from Prime Minister Edi Rama. Teachers have also expressed their support, while the protest continues in front of the Ministry of Education.
