The former director of the National Agency for the Information Society, Mirlinda Karçanaj, has appeared before SPAK as part of the investigation into the AKSHI tender dossier. Karçanaj appeared under the security measure "compulsory appearance".
SPAK's investigations are related to suspicions of manipulation of public procurement procedures, favoring certain companies, and hindering free competition in high-value tenders conducted by the National Agency for Public Procurement.
Other individuals, including businessmen Ergys Agasi and Ermal Beqiri, as well as former officials of the institution, are also included in the same file. The prosecution is also investigating suspicions of illegal competition through pressure, illegal deprivation of liberty and money laundering.
