Firefighters rescue 51-year-old man in Mallakastra after falling from height

51-year-old Fluturim Salobehaj from the village of Selitë in Mallakastra fell from a height of about 50 meters, while allegedly trying to repair a water pipe near the village.

Family members found him injured this afternoon and immediately notified the police.

The Mallakastra fire brigade arrived at the scene and managed to extract the 51-year-old from the difficult terrain.

Fortunately, he survived, but suffered several fractures. The injured person is being transported to the Fier Regional Hospital for medical attention.
