Businessman Luan Muça has broken his silence about the armed clash with Vasil Bedinaj in Orikum, rejecting the version that the conflict was about a fine of 5 million euros and claiming that the root of the incident lies in a property conflict in Palasa.
In a lengthy response to the media, the owner of “Delta Group” says that the conflict is related to a piece of land he purchased, part of the project for which he received the status of strategic investor. According to Muça, he accidentally discovered that another permit had been issued on the land he claims to own and, after contacting the AZHT for clarification, he received a call from Bedinaj, who asked him to meet at his hotel in Orikum.
Muça claims that the meeting, where he had gone "accompanied by family members", deteriorated after Bedinaj "called armed people", while during the departure from the hotel "the people he called shot at us". For this reason, he demands from the State Police "the clarification of this event and the full identification of the group of shooters".
The businessman also categorically denies Bedinaj's claim that he had asked for a fine of 5 million euros, an accusation for which he says he was detained by the police for 72 hours. In his reaction, Muça uses harsh tones towards Bedinaj, describing the claim for a fine as "a malicious fantasy" and declaring that he is ready to publish documents that, according to him, prove his version of the ownership conflict.

Hello,
Regarding the recent event in which I was involved, I would like to make this statement to the media.
I have remained silent until now, because in the position I was in, I was unable to speak, and I think the public has the right to hear the truth directly from me.
Since 2019, I have decided to undertake an investment in the Palasa area. During this time, I have purchased 97,000 m² of land in Palasa from many local owners. During this period, I have been forced to buy most of the land twice.
On 15.07.2021, I applied for and received strategic investor status, based on a project designed by the international studio EEA (Emre Arolat Architecture).
In 2022, on part of this area (26,000 m²), I applied for permission for the first phase of construction of an internationally branded, 5-star hotel.
In 2024, I obtained the permit and began construction work on this internationally branded hotel.
Also in 2024, I applied for the second phase of this project.
Në mënyrë rastësore, nga rrjetet sociale, kam parë se ishte dhënë një leje në tokën që unë kam blerë dhe mbi të cilën ishte dhënë statusi i investitorit, sipas masterplanit të EEA Studio. Madje, po reklamohej për shitjen e njësive, apartamenteve apo vilave të ndryshme.
Pas kësaj, i jam drejtuar AZHT-së për të marrë më shumë informacion rreth kësaj çështjeje. Pas komunikimit që pata, më njoftuan se do të verifikoheshin të gjitha dokumentet e palëve dhe se, deri në momentin e përfundimit të verifikimit të dokumenteve, nuk do të kishte zbardhje të lejes së ndërtimit.
Pas rreth një ore, jam telefonuar nga shtetasi Vasil Bedinaj, i cili më kërkoi të mos i ekspozoja në AZHT pretendimet e mia mbi pronën time. Gjatë kësaj telefonate, u vendos që të takoheshim në Orikum, te hoteli i z. Bedinaj, për të diskutuar rreth kësaj situate. (Z. Bedinaj e kam njohur rreth një vit më parë, pasi ishte paraqitur në kantierin ku unë po ndërtoj në Palasë, duke kërkuar takim me mua në lidhje me disa pretendime që kishte për kufirin e pronës. Kur shkova atje, z. Bedinaj nuk ishte vetëm, por ishte i shoqëruar nga një numër i madh njerëzish të armatosur.)
Kështu, i shoqëruar nga familjarë të mi, kam shkuar, me ftesën e tij, në ambientet e biznesit të tij.
Pasi jemi takuar në Orikum dhe jemi ulur në tavolinë, sapo kam nisur t’i shpjegoj pretendimet e mia, z. Bedinaj e ka tensionuar situatën me pretendimet e veta, duke sharë dhe ofenduar.
Edhe pse nga kamerat që z. Bedinaj i ka servirur opinionit publik kjo nuk duket qartë, në këtë moment ai thirri njerëz të armatosur, të cilët ishin të pozicionuar në vende të ndryshme të ambienteve të tij.
Në këtë moment, situata ka degraduar dhe unë kam kuptuar se z. Bedinaj nuk më kishte thirrur për t’u sqaruar, por për të prodhuar skandalin e tij të radhës. Për këtë arsye, jam ngritur dhe kam ikur.
Duke dalë nga ambientet e z. Bedinaj, njerëzit që ai thirri qëlluan me armë ndaj nesh. Për sa më sipër, kërkoj nga Policia e Shtetit zbardhjen e kësaj ngjarjeje dhe identifikimin e plotë të grupit të qitësve.
Jam çuditur shumë që, gjatë kësaj situate, z. Bedinaj kishte qetësinë dhe përkujdesjen që, në të gjitha mediat mbi të cilat kishte ndikim, të shpërndante lajme të rreme, sipas të cilave unë i kisha vendosur gjobë, si dhe të shpërndante pamjet filmike nga këndet që ai dëshironte.
Kam mësuar këto ditë se nuk është hera e parë që z. Bedinaj manipulon opinionin publik për përplasjet e tij. Këtë gjë ka tentuar ta bëjë edhe në rastin tim.
Çuditërisht dhe paradoksalisht, të vetmit që e kanë besuar këtë gjë kanë qenë punonjësit e Policisë së Shtetit, të cilët më kanë mbajtur të ndaluar për 72 ore me akuzën e gjobëvënies ndaj z. Bedinaj.
Unë nuk mund të flas për veten time, pasi nuk e kam bërë kurrë më parë, sepse kam besuar se për njerëzit flasin punët dhe veprat e tyre.
Besoj se opinioni publik është i njohur me punët, brandet dhe kompanitë që kemi krijuar brenda dhe jashtë vendit.
