"It's not a summer fling. It's love, it's serious and we have plans for the future." With these words, 22-year-old Antoine Lecomte describes his relationship with Tiphaine Auzière, Brigitte Macron's 42-year-old daughter.
The kitesurfer and young entrepreneur claims that age is no barrier for the couple and that what matters is the connection they have between them: "Age doesn't matter when you're in love. Tiphaine may be 20 years older than me, but she's fun, exciting and full of joy for life," he told the Daily Mail.

Antoine revealed that he initially did not know the identity of the woman he was facing when she went for surfing lessons in "Le Touquet", where he is professionally active: "She came for some lessons at the beginning of the summer. We got on well and she came back a few times. Then we met at a party where I was invited. I had no idea that she was Brigitte Macron's daughter. I found out later. It doesn't affect me, because what matters is that we get along and make each other happy," he stressed.

He admitted that after the publication of their relationship, he read a lot about him and Tiphaine, but stressed that the publicity did not change anything between them.

"It's something serious. It's not a summer relationship. We have a lot of plans together," he noted, revealing that the couple is even planning joint professional steps. "She's a lawyer and I need to develop my profession in Sri Lanka. We'll travel together and I hope my business will become even stronger," he said.
The 22-year-old also said that his parents are aware of the relationship and are positive, and that he is not worried about the attention his new partner has attracted.

"People don't treat us differently. We laugh a lot together, we help each other and we enjoy the time we spend together," he said.
When asked what attracted him most to Tiphaine, he avoided giving details, saying with a smile: "You ask me a lot. I can't tell you everything about us, but I can tell you that we are happy and in love." ©LAPSI.al
