Until the moment when Klajdi Kola said it publicly on RTSH, on the Supergol show, the act was thought to be confirmed, but a statement by Alban Xhaferri has now cast doubt on it. "This allegation was made public before the competent bodies had administered the evidence, heard the parties and, above all, before the existence of a decision by the competent disciplinary body," the statement distributed by Xhaferri read.
Of course, it is up to the competent authorities to shed light on what really happened in the locker room tunnel at Elbasan Arena, but this clash is an indication that sometimes one must wait before telling events without fully understanding the events, especially when they are told by only one actor.

Vllaznia Football Club, following the developments that followed the match AF Elbasani – KF Vllaznia, considers it necessary to address public opinion and the leaders of the Albanian Football Federation regarding a situation that now exceeds what has happened on the field of play.
A few hours after the end of the match, the official of the Albanian Football Association, Mr. Klajdi Kola, in a television appearance on RTSH, publicly and categorically declared that the President of KF Vllaznia, Mr. Alban Xhaferi, had hit one of the match officials, describing the information as “confirmed news”. This claim was made public before the competent authorities had administered the evidence, heard the parties and, above all, before the existence of a decision by the competent disciplinary body.
Even more worrying is the fact that, a few hours later, the Albanian Football Federation itself, through its official website, published a statement where it nominally mentions the President of KF Vllaznia and presents the accusation against him as a fait accompli, while in the same statement it announces that the competent disciplinary bodies will proceed and make their decisions "in complete independence".
This is precisely where our greatest institutional concern lies. How can the independence of the disciplinary body be truly guaranteed when the institution to which this body belongs has publicly, prior to its decision-making, identified the perpetrator, the action, and the responsibility?
KF Vllaznia dënon pa asnjë ekuivok çdo formë dhune në futboll, ndaj arbitrave, zyrtarëve, lojtarëve apo kujtdo tjetër. Dhuna është dhe do të mbetet e papranueshme.
Por po aq e papranueshme është që një klub të ndihet vazhdimisht i dëmtuar nga vendimmarrje arbitrale që cenojnë drejtpërdrejt punën dhe sakrificën e tij. Pas çdo ndeshjeje qëndrojnë investimi i Presidentit dhe i klubit, puna e përditshme e stafit, mundi dhe djersa e futbollistëve dhe mbi të gjitha pasioni i mijëra tifozëve kuq e blu. Askush nuk mund të kërkojë qetësi dhe respekt nga klubet, pa garantuar në të njëjtën kohë drejtësi, përgjegjësi dhe standard të barabartë nga arbitrat dhe institucionet që i mbikëqyrin ata.
Për KF Vllaznia kjo merr një peshë edhe më të madhe, sepse flasim për një klub që përfaqëson Shkodrën, qytetin ku lindi futbolli shqiptar, dhe një nga traditat më të mëdha sportive të vendit. Respekti për këtë histori nuk kërkon privilegje; kërkon vetëm trajtim të drejtë dhe të barabartë në fushën e lojës.
Po aq fuqishëm ne mbrojmë parimin e procesit të rregullt, prezumimin e pafajësisë, të drejtën për t'u dëgjuar dhe detyrimin e institucioneve sportive për të mos paragjykuar çështje që duhet të shqyrtohen nga organet kompetente.
FSHF nuk mund dhe nuk duhet të shndërrohet në një instrument përmes të cilit deklaratat individuale të zyrtarëve të saj marrin vulën institucionale dhe përdoren për të zhvilluar një gjykim publik ndaj Presidentit të një klubi anëtar, përpara përfundimit të procedurave përkatëse.
Federata Shqiptare e Futbollit është para së gjithash Federata e klubeve të saj anëtare. Detyra e saj është të garantojë integritetin e garës, zbatimin e barabartë të rregulloreve, paanshmërinë e administratës dhe organeve të saj, si dhe respektin institucional ndaj çdo klubi anëtar. Mbrojtja legjitime e arbitrave dhe zyrtarëve nuk mund të realizohet duke cenuar këto parime apo duke paragjykuar përgjegjësinë e një pale përpara shqyrtimit të fakteve.
Për këtë arsye, KF Vllaznia i drejtohet publikisht Presidentit të FSHF-së, z. Armand Duka, duke i kërkuar të ndërhyjë institucionalisht për të frenuar këtë klimë të papranueshme të gjykimit publik të iniciuar nga zyrtarë të Federatës, të garantojë që administrata e FSHF-së të respektojë kompetencat e organeve të pavarura disiplinore dhe të sigurojë që çdo çështje të trajtohet vetëm mbi bazën e provave, rregulloreve dhe procedurave përkatëse.
KF Vllaznia kërkon gjithashtu që çdo material filmik, raport zyrtar dhe provë tjetër lidhur me ngjarjen të administrohet dhe vlerësohet nga organet kompetente, duke garantuar të drejtën e klubit dhe të Presidentit të tij për t'u dëgjuar dhe për t'u mbrojtur përpara se të shpallet publikisht çfarëdo përgjegjësie.
