57-year-old Ndue Ndikaj has been arrested in Shkodra, after being suspected of being involved in the cultivation of 78 Cannabis Sativa narcotic plants and the production of 24 kilograms and 240 grams of cannabis. He was identified after several months of investigations using special methods, within the framework of the police operation codenamed "Vila", while the narcotic substance and plants were discovered in October in the village of Vilë, in the Temal administrative unit.

Vau i Dejës/The operation codenamed "Vila" is finalized, as a result of several months of investigations with proactive methods for documenting criminal activities in the field of narcotics. A 57-year-old man suspected of being an accomplice in the cultivation and production of 24 kg and 240 grams of Cannabis Sativa and 78 Cannabis Sativa plants is identified by the investigations and put in handcuffs.
The services of the Vau i Dejës Police Commissariat, after several months of intensive investigative work, carried out with special methods, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Shkodra, finalized the operation codenamed "Vila". As a result of this operation, citizen NN, 57 years old, resident of Shkodra, was identified and detained.
From the investigations, it is suspected that this citizen is an accomplice in the cultivation and production of 24 kg and 240 grams of the suspected narcotic substance Cannabis Sativa and in the cultivation of 78 suspected narcotic plants Cannabis Sativa, which were found and seized by the Police services, on 12.10.2026, in the village of Vila, Temal administrative unit.
Investigations are ongoing to fully document this criminal activity and identify other citizens involved. The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Shkodra, for the criminal offenses of "Production and sale of narcotics" and "Cultivation of narcotic plants", committed in collaboration.
