A 49-year-old man has been arrested by the police for transporting firearms on a motorbike. His arrest was made as part of the operation codenamed "Exponent", while the Tirana police say that the arrested person is a person with a significant record for crimes against life and for possession of weapons. The arrested person is Eduart Dushku, while as material evidence, the police found and seized 1 firearm (pistol) with ammunition, the bulletproof vest that the arrested person had in his apartment, as well as his motorbike and mobile phone. The capital's police explain that the motorbike on which the 49-year-old was traveling was stopped for inspection on Elbasani Street.

A 49-year-old man with a significant record for crimes against life and weapons possession was arrested on Elbasani Street while transporting firearms on a motorcycle.
1 firearm (pistol) with ammunition, the bulletproof vest that the arrested person had in the apartment, as well as his motorcycle and cell phone were seized.
Specialists of the Trafficking Investigation Section, in cooperation with the services of the "Eagle" Special Force, as a result of the rapid administration of information obtained during the operational work, finalized the coded operation "Exponent", within the framework of which citizen ED, 49 years old, resident of Tirana, was arrested in flagrante delicto.
The vehicle in which this citizen was traveling was stopped for inspection on Elbasani Street.
During the inspection, 1 firearm (pistol) with ammunition was found, which it is suspected that citizen ED was trafficking.
Further, during the search of this citizen's apartment, 1 bulletproof vest was found.
The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.
