Students have announced that the next national protest will be held on Saturday, November 7th at 2:00 PM in front of the Ministry of Education.
"After more than 150 days of uninterrupted protest, the government in Albania continues to ignore the demand of the citizen revolt: the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama. Autocracy has taken deep roots in Albania and we are prepared for a long battle. Therefore, we are entering a new phase of organization.
"To give our student network and supporters the opportunity to give their best on each protest day, students have decided that our national protests will continue twice a week, every Wednesday and Saturday at 2:00 PM, with an intensity that cannot be ignored," the statement said.
"We continue to support other civic protests against the government, whenever they are organized. The Albanians' fight for democracy continues. Autocracy will fall, just as dictatorship fell" - concludes the statement distributed by "Students in Protest". ©LAPSI.al
