Analyst Fatos Lubonja commented on the closure of investigations by SPAK into the case of former Deputy Prime Minister and former Minister Belinda Balluku, who faces charges of violating equality in tenders, corruption, money laundering and concealment of assets.
Invited to the show "Prime News24", he referred to reports of possible meetings between Prime Minister Edi Rama and Balluku, also mentioning the statements of former Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj.
He stressed that if the allegations are true, then it shows that Balluku and Rama are working to protect each other, characterizing them as accomplices in crime.
"The issue of Balluk, which was brought up in this way by SPAK without a measure or lifting of immunity, is also connected to something else that I don't know how much we have investigated, but you must have seen the news that Rama is said to have met with Balluk. Arben Ahmetaj also said it. I don't know who the red villa is.
"If it is true, it shows that Balluku is active in protecting both of them as accomplices in the crime. As we are seeing, she starts going to court, she is free, and she is also a member of parliament. This can also put pressure on the courts in these conditions," Lubonja said. /BalkanWeb
