The decision of the Administrative Court of Appeal to temporarily overturn the boycott of the first instance court hearings of the GJKKO has not brought the lawyers back to court. Even this Thursday, lawyers did not appear at the court hearings, leading to the failure of at least 10 processes.
Among them are the case against Ilir Meta and Monika Kryemadhi, as well as the process against Ilir Beqja for the Sterilization file. Lawyers are awaiting an official position from the National Chamber of Advocates, which is expected to hold a meeting to discuss the situation following the decision of the Administrative Court of Appeal.
Until a new decision is made by the Chamber, the lawyers announce that they will continue to boycott the court proceedings at the Special Court of First Instance. The boycott of court hearings at the Special Court of First Instance began on September 9, in protest against a regulation of the Special Court of First Instance, which the lawyers consider censorious.
