Erjon Vishkulli, the 28-year-old from Elbasan who was injured in the eye during the October 24 protest in Tirana, has published a photo from Italy, one day after the surgical intervention at the 'Gemelli' clinic in Rome.
"When God decides to perform a miracle, nothing is impossible," he writes, as he appears with his eye unbandaged after surgery.

Vishkulli was injured during the protest by a rubber bullet, and after receiving first aid at the Trauma Hospital, he was transported to Italy for specialized treatment.

It is learned that the surgical intervention was successful and doctors managed to save the eye, while restoring vision will require time and further treatment.
