During a check conducted by the General Directorate of Prisons and the Agency for the Supervision of the System of Execution of Criminal Decisions, a suspected quantity of narcotics was found yesterday in prison 313 in Tirana.
According to confirmed sources on yesterday's action, cocaine and cannabis were ordered over the phone by the prisoner, citizen O. Asllani, and the food was delivered by citizen A. Xhamet, his relative, who was arrested for bringing prohibited items into the prison.
The investigation began 15 days ago after a conversation was recorded with the prisoner, who appeared happy about special food being brought to his cell. Yesterday's operation found 12 doses of suspected cocaine and 17 doses of suspected cannabis sativa.
