New details have emerged from the criminal file against the former head of the Albanian Intelligence Service, Vlora Hyseni, who has been placed under "house arrest" on charges of "exposing secret information" and "supporting the perpetrator of the crime".
In the "Signal" application seized on the phone of the arrested Ergys Agasi, an intensity of his communications with two other Israelis was found, where they talk about an escape plan for Vlora Hyseni in order to avoid a possible arrest by SPAK.
These facts have also emerged in the decision of the special court, which reasons that the communications mediated by Ergys Agasi with foreign citizens identified by the pseudonyms "Shalev Israel" and "Srulik Einhorn Koces", who are mentioned in connection with issues related to the head of the secret service, reasonably indicate the presence of an international network serving the interests of the criminal group, a network that increases the concrete degree of risk that Vlora Hyseni, if she remained at large, would have privileged access to channels of escape or concealment that are beyond the effective control of the Albanian procedural bodies.
Despite these communications that Agasi made with two Israelis, such a thing did not happen, since even when a security measure was imposed on Vlora Hyseni, she was in Baku, Azerbaijan, and later came and surrendered to Albania.
The decision further states that the court also takes into consideration the rapid dynamics of conducting investigative actions that have so far been closed and after the execution of this judicial decision, the prosecution body will conduct open investigative actions.
On the other hand, the court's decision states that the former head of SHISH considered her actions with Ergys Agas completely normal, not showing any remorse or the truth of her actions, outside of any protocol and function of her duty.
Given this situation, the preventive measure of suspension from duty is fully justified, fully appreciating the special and sensitive role that the Director of SHISH carries and that consequently the official activity of Vlora Hyseni must be terminated immediately, in order to prevent the deletion of evidence or the creation of false evidence.
We recall that a day ago, the Special Court of Appeal left in place the house arrest security measure for the former head of the State Intelligence Service, Vlora Hyseni.
The decision was made by Judge Florian Kalaja, who, after hearing the parties 1 day ago, decided to approve the first instance decision, which placed Vlora Hyseni under "house arrest".
Through his defense lawyers, Hyseni requested the removal of the security measure, assigning a more lenient measure, on the pretext that he would not evade the investigation and for a number of other family reasons, as his father was in serious health condition.
The GJKKO has previously imposed the security measure of "house arrest" on Hysen, as he is accused of involvement in the AKSHI scandal, where he is suspected of having helped businessman Ergys Agasi while the latter was on the run.
For senior official Vlora Hyseni, the SPAK special prosecution has filed charges of "Supporting the perpetrator of the crime" and "Releasing investigative secrets."
In her earlier claims before the Special Prosecution Office, Hyseni stated that her systematic contacts with Agas were in the capacity of a SHISH collaborator, denying close meetings.
SPAK emphasizes that Hyseni had not informed anyone, no institution, nor others inside or outside SHISH.
According to SPAK, the businessman dictated and received the information he needed from Hyseni.
He also admitted that he had intentionally left secret documents in his car so that they would be found when the checks were carried out.
