A bomb threat has alerted several institutions in various cities across the country this morning.
According to the State Police announcement, an e-mail was sent to the electronic addresses of several institutions from a still unidentified address, with threatening content, claiming that a bomb had been placed on their premises. After receiving the information, the State Police structures immediately began verifications and checks in the institutions involved in the threat. According to the police, the checks carried out did not find the presence of a bomb or any other type of explosive.

This morning, an e-mail was sent to the email addresses of several institutions in several cities of the country from an as yet unidentified address, with threatening and terrorist content, claiming that a bomb has been placed in these institutions. Immediately after receiving this information, the State Police structures are carrying out all necessary verifications in the institutions involved in this threat. From the checks carried out so far, it has not resulted that a bomb or any other type of explosive has been placed.
Meanwhile, the Directorate for the Investigation of Cybercrimes, in cooperation with the Anti-Terrorism Directorate and other law enforcement agencies, continue intensive work to identify the author and the email address from which these threats were sent. The State Police assures citizens that there is no room for panic and that its structures are maximally committed to guaranteeing public order and security, as well as to preventing and combating illegalities.
