The fans' enthusiasm degenerated significantly in the classic friendly between Juventus and Next Gen. The match between the two teams of the same club lasted only one half, as before the start of the second half there was a massive invasion of the field that made it impossible to continue the game, leading to the final interruption with the score 2-0 for Spalletti's team. More or less everything happened on the field, with truly absurd scenes. Someone even risked being injured: this is the case of defender Gatti and Kosovar Zhegrova, with the first being bumped by a fan and the second literally "disappearing" among the crowd of fans who were trying to get any kind of souvenir.
Gatti collides with involuntary fan interference, risks injury
A wave of black and white poured onto the Allianz Stadium pitch and a large part of the 24,000 spectators present in the stands tried to reach their idols. The staff and players started a general evacuation by running back to the dressing rooms, but not everyone made it in time or immediately understood what was happening. The one who took the most risk was Federico Gatti: as he headed towards the tunnel, he did not notice a fan coming after him. The latter, betrayed by the speed of his run, slipped next to the defender, crashing into him with a dangerous and involuntary tackle. Gatti's bad fall back created moments of great concern and further chaos, before the player was covered in hugs from the fans.
Zhegrova surrounded, Juventus fans try to take everything from him
A similar fate befell some of his teammates, especially Zhegrova. Unlike the others, the Kosovar winger preferred to walk to the locker room without running and within seconds was surrounded by fans who had entered the field. Despite his attempts to calm the situation, the fans present began to pull him to take his shirt and even his shorts. The scene was surreal, with Zhegrova forced to lie on the ground to comply with the demands of the crowd.
The situation returned to normal after just a few minutes, thanks to a security cordon set up between the entrance to the locker rooms and the fans who had remained on the pitch. This is not the first time that this summer's challenge has ended with a pitch invasion, but the feeling is that this time the safety limit has clearly been crossed.
