US President Donald Trump is considering the possibility of resuming military strikes on Iran, while several meetings have been held at the White House with the national security team to assess next steps.
According to foreign media reports , one of the dates being mentioned as a possibility for a new operation is November 9, as it coincides with the New Moon in the Middle East, creating conditions with minimal lighting at night. However, so far there has been no final decision on new attacks.
There are three scenarios on Trump's negotiating table: resuming large-scale bombing, continuing economic and military pressure through a naval blockade, or reaching a diplomatic agreement with Tehran.
Meanwhile, Iran has conveyed a new proposal for its nuclear program through Qatar. Tehran is demanding seven conditions, including the lifting of US sanctions, the release of frozen assets and compensation for war damages. Clashes among Trump's advisers are also evident: Vice President JD Vance favors a diplomatic deal, while the CIA director and the Treasury secretary support continued pressure on Iran.
At the same time, Iranian authorities have begun distributing iodine tablets to families living near nuclear facilities as a preventive measure against the risk of a radioactive incident in the event of attacks. Iraq has also expressed concern about the escalation of the situation, warning that its territory should not be used as a base for attacks against neighboring countries.
