A 27-year-old man and his 3-month-old daughter were found without signs of life on Saturday morning in the village of Demiraj, Gjilan.
The bodies were found around 08:47, while Kosovo Police arrested a 65-year-old man, the father of the 27-year-old victim.
However, authorities have yet to confirm the suspicions and the full circumstances of the incident.
As reported by the public television (RTK), unofficial reports have mentioned the possibility that the 27-year-old first killed his daughter and was then killed by his father, but this version has not yet been officially confirmed.
According to the same sources, the baby's mother does not live in the same house as the 27-year-old. The baby lived with her father and grandparents. So far, there have been no public statements from the family.
The bodies of the victims have been sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine for autopsy, while authorities are investigating the case.
Gjilan has recently faced several serious events after 5 people lost their lives in tragic circumstances.
On October 9, in the village of Livoç i Poshtëm, a 27-year-old woman and her 31-year-old brother were killed. In the same incident, a 48-year-old family member was also seriously injured. /Telegraph
