Journalist Artan Hoxha said that the anti-government protest in Tirana, which was accompanied by acts of violence, has nothing to do with Antifa as Prime Minister Edi Rama has tried to portray. In an interview with News24, Hoxha stressed that the real Antifa in Albania is the prime minister and his structure.
According to him, the dissatisfaction with Rama is not only student-based, but includes the entire population. He also criticized the prime minister for releasing photos and names of people who protested, calling it a "lightning bolt of communism."
"This was not a protest of flamingos and students, it is popular discontent. The revolt today and the discontent is popular, not just of students. The students are the ones who come in an organized manner."
He came out without a trace of shame like a lightning bolt from the communist era, revealing with photos and names who the people are. Are you a court? Prosecutor? Rector? Instead of taking action against the police, you go and take action against the citizens.
Even the plan of measures that he published is so unprepared and weak, that they did not do it themselves but took it ready. That is why there was a ban on trains because it is for Italy and France. Antifa in Albania is Edi Rama and his structures. There is no Antifa here," he said.
