Edi Rama spoke at the National Council for the Rights and Protection of Children's Rights table about the recent events in the country. Rama said that in recent days it has been seen how violence has been relativized and justified.
Among other things, he stated that consultations with teachers and parents will begin soon on restricting social media access for minors.
"We will begin consultations with teachers and parents on limiting social media for minors. We will work to increase the range of social activities for children. Extending children's school hours until 5:00 p.m. is something that will begin immediately next year ," the prime minister said.
The restriction of social networks comes after the approval of a package of restrictive and repressive measures against those participating in protests.
