A road accident was recorded around 18:00 on the Levan-Vlora axis, on the old road.
A vehicle, driven by a 58-year-old man with the initials AB, hit a 74-year-old pedestrian, with the initials A. Sh., a resident of the village of Levan.
The elderly man was transported to the Fier Regional Hospital, where he is receiving medical attention.
After the accident, the driver of the vehicle was taken to the police station for further action. According to the police, an alcohol test showed that the 58-year-old had not consumed alcohol.
Meanwhile, the investigation team continues to work to clarify the circumstances and cause of the accident.
