Italian media reports that there has been progress in the investigation into the murder of Albanian Denaldo Maxhalaku, a 31-year-old man found dead on the morning of Wednesday, October 28, in a well in Via Felloniche, in Longiano. A man has been arrested by the Carabinieri on the orders of the Forlì Public Prosecutor's Office. According to "TGR Emilia Romagna", the arrested person is a 29-year-old from Cesena.
The investigation into the disappearance of the 31-year-old began on October 7th when there was no further news about him. The investigation revealed that Maxhalaku was killed by gunfire.
The victim, married and the father of a little girl just over 1 year old, had left home on the evening of October 7 to meet an acquaintance. He had disappeared since then, prompting a search by his family and law enforcement.
The next day, his car was found completely burned out near the Rubicone River, a few kilometers from where his body was later discovered. The discovery was made this morning (Wednesday, October 28) inside a well near a village house in the locality of Felloniche.
Several spent shell casings were found nearby, a finding that is currently under investigation by investigators. Initial investigations indicate that the 31-year-old suffered multiple gunshot wounds and that his death may have occurred on the evening of his disappearance.
Investigators are trying to reconstruct the circumstances of the crime and the relationships between the victim and the people he frequented. Among the investigative hypotheses that have emerged in the first hours is that of a possible financial problem, but the motive remains unclear.
The arrest represents an important step in the investigation coordinated by the Forlì Prosecutor's Office. Further investigations will clarify the role of the arrested person and reconstruct what happened in the hours after the last match of Maxhalak. ©LAPSI.al
