The Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Fier completed the investigations and sent to trial citizen AH, a notary, accused of the criminal offense of "Forgery of documents" by the person who is responsible for issuing them, committed more than once, as provided for in Article 186, paragraph three, of the Criminal Code.
At the conclusion of the investigations into criminal proceedings no. 1050, of 2019, it resulted that, during the period 2011–2020, the defendant, in her capacity as a notary, committed repeated acts of falsification of notarial documents. Specifically, in some cases, she is suspected of having drafted and issued notarial acts using the names of other notaries, without the latter being the authors of the respective acts. In other cases, she is suspected of having drafted notarial acts without the presence of the parties, although their presence was required for the performance of the respective acts.
The investigation also revealed that, during the years 2011–2018, contracts for the sale of vehicles were drawn up, which were not registered in the relevant notary registers of the notaries in whose name they were issued. According to the evidence administered, in a significant number of cases the name of a notary with an office in Tirana was used, while the relevant acts were allegedly drawn up in Fier by the defendant.
At the same time, the investigations against the same notary, within the framework of criminal proceedings no. 390/2023, have been completed and she has been charged with the criminal offense of "Forgery of documents" by the person who is responsible for issuing them, as provided for in Article 186, paragraph three, of the Criminal Code.
