A physical education teacher at a school in Selenica has been detained by the Vlora Police, suspected of sexually harassing female students.
In connection with the case, the 35-year-old with the initials AA was reported by seven female students, aged 14 to 17, who initially reported the case to the school principals.
After receiving the reports, the Selenica Education Office notified the Police, who intervened and detained the teacher.
One of the 7 girls who reported the teacher has shared details about the incident with Report TV. Her mother also spoke with her, as well as a minor, a student at the same school.
The girl who was part of the group that filed the report stated that the teacher had not personally harassed her, but had harassed her friends.
"They said the actions he had taken, but he had not done anything to me personally. I only know that he had done these actions with the girls at school. No, there are no messages, I don't know that there are any messages. But he has not done anything bad to me personally. He was teaching us, I didn't notice anything. They asked us aside at the police station, as the seven of us went. We were with our parents, but they asked us aside ," said one of the girls who was questioned at the police station.
Meanwhile, her mother said that the professor had been teaching at that school for 3 months and, according to her, he had constantly harassed the girls.
"They didn't let me speak, only the girl spoke. The police asked her about things that happened at school, about physical touching, gestures. But the girl simply said, 'I was present when the girls did things.' The professor had been at the school for 3 months and had done these things ," said the mother of one of the girls.
Meanwhile, the minor boy said he had heard the teacher telling the girls to "come and be happy, my heart."
"The gym teacher was arrested for harassing the girls, hitting them. He harassed them with words, like 'come on, my dear,'" said the underage student at the school where the scandal occurred.
